Excellerate Holdings purchased 37,4% of Vital Distribution Solutions in 2008.  Having recognised the success and potential of the Vital business, Excellerate was keen to invest in the growth of the Company.  Excellerate’s role is to provide Vital Distribution Solutions with strategic support, financial support through its own balance sheet, and provide new avenues of growth for Vital Distribution Solutions.

Excellerate is an investment holding company, listed on the JSE Limited, with three core business divisions, namely Trading and Distribution, Services and Light Manufacturing.  The group is focused on delivering optimal performance from its current asset base, which it operates on a highly decentralised basis, at the same time aggressively pursuing high levels of growth across both the group and the business units
